Course description

This CPR course is for those who need training and knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. It includes the training of using an automated external defibrillator (AED). Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

This course is well suited to those with busy lifestyles as it allows participants to learn the theoretical aspect of the training at their own pace using an online platform. Once the online section is completed, participants attend an in-class session to set their understanding, put their knowledge to practice, and focus on the program’s skills-based aspects. Once you have completed the online portion, you will receive an online certificate that you can print or download on your cell phone and bring to show the instructor that you are now ready for the in-class portion of your training.

Note

You MUST complete the online portion before attending your classroom training. You will NOT be allowed to attend the class if you show up with an incomplete online course. When you register for this training, select your classroom training date, time, and location. Please provide enough time to complete the online course before the practical in-class training. If you have not completed the online course, please call or email us immediately if you need to reschedule your classroom training.
